How many sessions will I need?
Hair grows in cycles (anagen, catagen, telogen). Laser works best in the anagen (active) phase, so a series of 6–8 sessions, spaced every 4–8 weeks, is typical. Facial or hormonally influenced hair (e.g., PCOS) may need more sessions and occasional maintenance. Gray, white, and very blond hairs generally do not respond.
What to expect
- Before: Shave the area 24 hours prior. Avoid tanning/self-tanner for 2 weeks. No waxing, plucking, threading, or depilatory creams for 3–4 weeks before treatment (shaving only). Pause retinoids/acids on face or treated body areas for 3–5 days.
- During: You may feel quick snaps or warmth. Thanks to larger spot sizes and consistent coverage, full legs and Brazilian sessions are efficient.
- After: Temporary redness or follicular bumps can occur for a few hours. Use cool compresses, gentle skincare, and SPF. Avoid hot tubs, heavy workouts, tight frictional clothing, and exfoliation for 24–48 hours.

Brazilian vs. bikini—what’s the difference?
Bikini line clears the edges outside standard underwear; Brazilian removes most or all hair in the pubic region (customizable to your preference).
Can I get laser while pregnant or breastfeeding?
We do not treat during pregnancy. If breastfeeding, we can discuss timing and area selection during consultation.
Does it help with ingrown hairs?
Reducing coarse, curly hairs often reduces the ingrowns they cause—especially in bikini and underarms. Individual results vary.
Can I wax or thread between sessions?
No—please shave only. Waxing, threading, or tweezing removes the follicle temporarily and can reduce effectiveness.
